OBM Geriatrics is an Open Access journal published quarterly online by LIDSEN Publishing Inc. The journal takes the premise that innovative approaches – including gene therapy, cell therapy, and epigenetic modulation – will result in clinical interventions that alter the fundamental pathology and the clinical course of age-related human diseases. We will give strong preference to papers that emphasize an alteration (or a potential alteration) in the fundamental disease course of Alzheimer’s disease, vascular aging diseases, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, skin aging, immune senescence, and other age-related diseases.

Papers must be clear and concise, but detailed data is strongly encouraged. The journal publishes research articles, reviews, communications and technical notes. There is no restriction on the length of the papers and we encourage scientists to publish their results in as much detail as possible.

OBM Neurobiology

OBM Neurobiology is an international peer-reviewed Open Access journal published quarterly online by LIDSEN Publishing Inc. By design, the scope of OBM Neurobiology is broad, so as to reflect the multidisciplinary nature of the field of Neurobiology that interfaces biology with the fundamental and clinical neurosciences. As such, OBM Neurobiology embraces rigorous multidisciplinary investigations into the form and function of neurons and glia that make up the nervous system, either individually or in ensemble, in health or disease. OBM Neurobiology welcomes original contributions that employ a combination of molecular, cellular, systems and behavioral approaches to report novel neuroanatomical, neuropharmacological, neurophysiological and neurobehavioral findings related to the following aspects of the nervous system: Signal Transduction and Neurotransmission; Neural Circuits and Systems Neurobiology; Nervous System Development and Aging; Neurobiology of Nervous System Diseases (e.g., Developmental Brain Disorders; Neurodegenerative Disorders).

OBM Neurobiology publishes research articles, technical reports and invited topical reviews. Although the OBM Neurobiology Editorial Board encourages authors to be succinct, there is no restriction on the length of the papers. Authors should present their results in as much detail as possible, as reviewers are encouraged to emphasize scientific rigor and reproducibility.

Renewing Membership and Paying Invoices

The World Association for Medical Law has recently developed a new online membership database with Wild Apricot. Wild Apricot is an online membership software for small associations and allows online membership applications, member directory, membership renewals, event managment and online payments. Also puts our members in control of their contact information.

For those who have never logged into the system please use your email address as your username and choose 'Forgot password'. Follow instructions to set your own password. After logging in choose 'View Profile' (located top right), click 'Membership' and then "Renew'. Membership Dues are $150.

If you have an outstanding invoice please choose "View Profile" (located top right), then choose "Invoices and Payments". You will then see a box in yellow showing a balance due and you have the choice of "Pay with Credit Card" or "PaylPal Express Checkout".

If you are not paying online and wish to pay by bank wire transfer please contact Denise McNally at worldassocmedlaw@gmail.com to request bank wire transfer instructions. We will return instructions by email.
