Since 1967 the WAML has held 18 World Congresses for Medical Law (WCML). first, it was conducted  in 3 years intervals, later (since 1994) in 2 years intervals.   In the year 2016 WAML intends to start holding an annual World Congress for Medical Law (1 year interval).
