University of Antwerp
Lange Winkelstraat 9
2000 Antwerpen, Belgium
By organising the WAML-conference in The University of Antwerp we would go back to the roots of the WAML-conferences. Indeed, the first conferences e.g. in Belgium were held in the university of Ghent (Belgium). Later on, in 2006 the WAML conference was also held in the university of Toulouse (France).
Organising the WAML-conference in the University of Antwerp has several advantages:
•Located in the historical city centre, nearby historical monuments, hotels and restaurants.
•During academic holidays, the University buildings are entirely at our disposal to organise this congress.
•All facilities: internet, audio visual equipment, live stream,…
•Different auditoriums available: as from 300 people in theater style up to 700 seats.
•Break out rooms available.
•The University of Antwerp houses also the AHLEC – unique for Belgium
There is a garden where delegates can relax during the breaks
